High-tech products from Coburg for the Maybach

The metal structure of the Maybach rear seat: Brose has developed the electro-motor adjuster systems.

Brose Group. The Maybach, the luxury limousine from DaimlerChrysler, is equipped with diverse electro-motor adjuster systems from Brose.

DaimlerChrysler and Brose have been successfully working together for more than 50 years. The automaker’s confidence in the efficiency, quality and, above all, in the innovative strength of the Coburg specialists is to be seen once again in the new luxury limousine. Its technical perfection, individuality and unrivalled comfort set new benchmarks for excellence for automobiles.

Seat and headrest adjuster systems have been developed by Brose specially for the Maybach. In the short version, the Maybach 57, the rear seats are fitted with a length and tilt adjuster, while in the flagship Maybach 62 model it is possible to adjust the seat cushion as well. At the touch of a button, the passenger is able to find a comfortable reclining position. The functionality of the rear seats has been modeled on the first class seats in passenger aircraft. Apart from offering the highest possible level of comfort, the seat is also designed to provide optimum safety in a crash, no matter what position it has been adjusted to. The window regulator’s mechanics for the Maybach are made of aluminum to save weight.

Brose supplies the window regulators for the front and rear doors as well as an adjuster for a glass partition between the driver and passenger compartment.
