Support for the "Hippo Project"
A special corset, the "Hippo-Sulky", is a stabilizing support for riders who are not able to sit alone on a horse. This construction was developed on the initiative of Michael Stoschek, Chairman of the Brose Group. An enthusiastic rider himself, he has supported this project, which is also being tested at the Medical Center in Gauerstadt, for more than three years.
Karlheinz Röder, leader of the Gospel choir, was impressed by this new therapy: "We are pleased to be able to promote such an innovative project as the "Hippo-Mobil".
Joachim Oppel, treasurer of the "Pferdegestützte Therapie” association, was delighted with the donation and explained that it would be used to provide therapeutic riding to handicapped children and adults from socially deprived families.
