Production Plants and Joint Ventures in Europe

Brose's second Eastern European production facility located in the industrial park of Kopřivnice/Ostrava went operational in September 2004. In addition to complete seat structures, adjusters and components, side-door and liftgate latches, Brose currently produces drives for HVAC blowers as well as EBS motors in Ostrava for almost 20 carmakers and key suppliers. The most important customers include Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, PSA, Volkswagen and Volvo.
 
The Czech production facility supplies the Brose plants in Coburg, Wuppertal and China as part of their cross-plant collaboration.
 
Apart from being equipped with manual and highly automated assembly technology, the production site in Kopřivnice/Ostrava also has its own pre-production facilities: a press shop and two high-end technological devices for the surface treatment of stamped parts, laserwelding equipment, gluing equipment and winding lines for production of drives.
