Production Plants and Joint Ventures in America

In December 2004, Brose Tuscaloosa, Inc. started door system production for the series of Mercedes M-, R- and GL-Class. The door systems are built and supplied in sequence with the customer's own vehicle production schedule at the Mercedes Benz US International plant one kilometer away.

Since 2008, the Brose plant located in the state of Alabama has been supplying cooling fan modules to BMW (Spartanburg, SC) and to GM (Ramos/Mexico). In 2011 the plant started supplying seat adjusters to VW in Chattanooga, TN and in 2012 will start building seat adjusters for Ford (Louisville, KY and Hermosillo, Mexico).
