Europe - one continent with many faces

In 2006, Brose began operations at its youngest plant near Gothenburg. This is where door systems are produced and delivered just-in-sequence to the Swedish customer Volvo. Gothenburg today, with two universities and many companies, is a city of both science and industry.

The city is characterized by broad boulevards, parks and turn-of-the-century brick buildings. With around 500,000 residents, Gothenburg features large shopping centers, an opera house, the largest floating maritime museum in the world and Paddan canal boats gliding through its canals and harbor. Those looking for a peaceful outing can visit the Gothenburg archipelago, a scenic island group not far from the mainland.
