“I had always dreamed of working abroad. When I was offered a chance by Brose to work for three years as a controller at the Querétaro plant in Mexico, I seized the opportunity. 
 
Life in Mexico is in many ways different from life in Germany; some of the conveniences taken for granted in Germany are simply not available. However, with improvisation and open-mindedness to a foreign culture, I successfully settled in to the Mexican style of life, both professionally and privately.

I have in fact adjusted so well that I extended my contract a further three years. My experiences during my foreign assignment have provided great personal enrichment. Looking back, I know I would do it all over again.”
